Yoga Dance Fusion


Patricia Moreno is a Therapeutics and Anusara Yoga teacher with an ACE certification. Moreno grew up very overweight and chubby. She started exercising when she was about 13 years old and later went from 212 pounds to 150 pounds. Moreno battled with weight and food issues all her life and said that dancing and working out are what 'saved' her.

Yoga Dance Fusion combines endurance, flexibility and strength to give you a fresh perspective on the fusion of yoga and dance. The fluidity and gracefulness of this workout is what I enjoy most. This workout is also great for flexibility and tone with the added bonus of feeling of calm when you're done. The workout is filmed in a mountain setting, high above a curving river. You can feel the breeze and can convince yourself that you smell the fragrance of the trees and wildflowers.

This DVD has a total of 80 minutes of workouts and is great for all levels of fitness. There are 3 workout selections: a 55 minute workout, a 30 minute "Express Workout", and a 10 minute stretch workout.

I own some of her dance workout DVDs, but I've never seen that one - looks fun!
