Dang. No really, dang. I'm doing P90X now and am planning on Insanity when I finish. Now I know what i am doing in 6 months. :D
ReplyDeleteIf I had the p90X I would do this rotation with you!!! I only have the insanity workouts right now. :(
ReplyDeleteDefinitely makingfoodandotherstuff! I'll let you know how it goes :o)
ReplyDeleteMegan, bummer! P90X is awesome and so worth the investment! I actually have loaned it out so many times and I have to get it back to do this rotation. My brother will be SO sad.
Thanks for the info and I am glad you posted this, Nicole. And too funny that Katie (foodfunstuff) came to your post...she's the other girl i know who's into p90x! small world!
ReplyDeleteas for us..holding pattern. Sigh. Will know more in 10-14 days I am guessing. I miss SD soooo much :)
xoxo
I may have to try this myself... I have been debating the STS series for the summer when I can't get to the gym as much, and wondering how I would fit my cardio into that series.
ReplyDeleteI know what to expect with this. I have only tried some of the insanity workouts... Looks like it might be good to work in with my other workouts...
Thanks for sharing!
This sounds insane...but in a good way! Please let us know how it goes.
ReplyDeleteDo it. I mixed the two together and was pretty much sore all the time. It was brutal. Here are my results. http://workoutjourney.com/my-p90x-insanity-hybrid-workout-results
ReplyDeleteAre you a Beachbody Coach? I don't see anywhere on your site saying you are. Go to www.BeachbodyCoach.com/bradgibala and click on Coach to learn more.
Nice site. You have lots of good info. Now go and get at the hybrid workout.
Anytime Averie! I hope all goes well and you're back soon : )
ReplyDeleteCarrie, here's an example of an STS/Cardio rotation: http://www.thecathenation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=271387
I am just about finished with it and I loved it!
I will definitely let you know Leslie! If I make it out alive that is : )
Thanks for the encouragement Brad! Nope, I'm not a Beachbody coach. I have had a lot of people tell me I should be because I love the company so much. I'm a bit busy right now, maybe one day : )
Nicole
Wow! That sounds like it would kick my butt...would love to try it though....
ReplyDeleteI'm so EAGER to get back into the gym and pump some friggin' IRON!!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt'll be here faster than you know it Kristen! You're almost done! Can't wait to see the little monkey : )
ReplyDeleteI do both too! I have to say...that I just don't like Insanity. But I LOVE p90x! Mostly I mix running, cycling and p90x. I throw in Insanity every once in awhile. I just feel like it's soooo hard on my body:)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good plan though!!
Plan looks good except for weeks 9 and 11. Doing Chest and back and then Max Interval Plyo the next day might be a bit much. That's a whole lot of push ups.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip Beachbody! Maybe I'll switch Interval Plyo with the Max Cardio Conditioning or the Max Recovery.
ReplyDeleteThat looks intense!! I am in phase 2 of P90X right now but I may do both next round!
ReplyDeleteMy youngest started half-day Kindergarten this year so my workouts are all done at the gym while school is in session. I am hoping to try this rotation out over the summer. I'll let you all know how it goes!
ReplyDeleteNicole
WOW!!! Looks intense! I got someone from beachbody asking me to check out their program and one day soon however been on another fitness regime that's been working for me post babies however open to suggestions.
ReplyDeleteWhat's been your experience? XxDani
