Workouts in Review- Budokon

Budokon

I had heard of Budokon in the past but wasn't quite ready to try it. I finally broke down and purchased the new series and was quite impressed with it. Budokon is a mix between yoga and martial arts. Yoga is used as a warm-up and then you move on to the martial arts. The new series is definitely for the int/adv exerciser and it will make you sweat! If you're new to yoga or martial arts, I suggest you try the beginner series first.
Budokon was founded in 2000 by Cameron Shayne. Cameron with his wife Liz, travel the world leading workshops. His clients have included Olympic gold medalists and professional athletes. All Budokon techniques are designed to explore the body's full range of motion. The practice dances between agility, control, speed, power, balance and flow. In the end you will become more agile, strong and lean. Try it!

Sounds like an intriguing workout!

Gaiam also puts out a three video set of Budokon, Quigong and Tai Chi. The three of them are all the exercise (combo) you will ever need! It's awesome and I strongly recommbend it.

That's kinda funny. I wrote recomm-bend which is sorta an exercise pun....on accident:) See that? I'm even witty when I don't mean to be. Uh huh.
