Workouts in Review- Weight Loss Cardio Sculpt

What is it?

The program consists of 5 workout options ranging in length from 20-54 minutes. These workouts each work separate muscle groups so they can be broken up over several days or done all together every other day. The instructor is Violet Zaki is a certified fitness instructor, a master trainer for both Powerstrike and Body Bar programs and practices a black belt in Seido Karate. She is a no-nonsense instructor determined to get you in shape! The DVD includes a booklet with recipes from Cooking Light that will help jump-start you into healthy eating. Yet another winning program from Acacia!

Who is it for?
Weight Loss Cardio Sculpt is aimed toward the beginner/intermediate up to intermediate exercisers and includes low-impact modifications for those who want to avoid the high-impact exercises. Anyone who wants to build muscle so they can speed up their metabolism and burn more fat throughout the day will enjoy this workout.

What to expect:
Each workout is fast paced so you can expect to get a good workout in a short amount of time. I did all of the segments together and felt that every muscle had been worked by the end. You alternate between cardio and strength and finish off with core work, floor toning and a nice 9- minute stretch. Overall I liked this workout and would suggest to anyone who is looking for a one stop shop in their workout program.
Make sure to check out the "Bonus Features" which include an 8-minute Ab Challenge, a 5-minute section of Weight Loss Pilates and tips for "Moves on the Go". There is also a bio on the instructor, Violet Zaki.

Thanks again Katie for sending me this great DVD! I look forward to future productions from Acacia. Make sure to check out Acacia's fitness apparel too, it's beautiful and unique.
