Workouts in Review- Kitchen Sink Conditioning

What is it?

Kitchen Sink Conditioning is a 60-minute total body toning/cardio routine. You will quickly move from one routine to the next so the cardio factor kicks in a bit during the strength routine as well.

Who is it for?

This is an advanced conditioning routine in that you have to be familiar with quite a few different pieces of equipment. Patrick does show modifications so if you're ready to keep up with the fast pace beginner/intermediates could do this workout as well.

What to expect:

Patrick Goudeau is an energetic, fun instructor. I have done several of his total body routines and have really liked each one. He has a quirky personality and likes to laugh which makes the time go by faster in my opinion.

Kitchen Sink Conditioning is a creative, dynamic total body workout. This workout does use quite a few different pieces of equipment hence the title. The equipment includes a step, multiple dumbbells, a stability ball, rubber tubing, a medicine ball and a body bar(I just used my barbell empty with 10 lbs. on it). I found that I was always using multiple muscle groups for each exercise and my core was always engaged. By the end of the workout I was dripping wet and smiling.

I use this workout when I am on a "rest" week because it works all of my body at the same time. When I am not using a particular strength program this workout is great for keeping everything tight. I would not be able to gain strength with this routine but I can keep the strength I have from lifting heavier. If you are looking for a all encompassing, challenging, fun workout this is it!

This sounds like a grat one to do once I get myself up to that level or maybe even to use to get myself there. I was totally thinking about you encouraging me while at the gym today.

I'm so glad to hear that Jennifer:) I actually pretend I'm working out with someone everyday, it does help motivate me!

LOL!!! Nicole, clearly I spend too much time in the kitchen [well if there is such a thing as spending to much time there]. When I saw the title Kitchen Sink Conditioning, I imagined it had to do with working out in the kitchen!

Thanks for introducing us this awesome workout. :-D

You're hilarious Ingrid! I think that would be the perfect workout if I could combine Raw food prep and working out:)
