Do You Subscribe?

One of my greatest learning tools over the past 5 years has been Oxygen Magazine. This wonderful publication is always ramping up training moves so you get a better workout, giving you great recipes with eating tips and also motivating you with every issue. I am not sponsored or payed to endorse this publication but I find it so useful I thought I would pass on the info to you!

I love Eating clean magazine, but I personally find that Oxygen is loaded with images that can cause you to compare yourself to others, and put pressure on yourself to attain a certain "body" when working out should be about enjoying yourself and being healthy...Not about looking like a fitness model.

Comparing ourselves to others is a reality in this world, unfortunately. I think that I've come to a point in my life though where I take the tips and the articles use them to better my health and physique but no longer expect that I will look like the models:) I am very impressed that all of these women keep themselves fit and also help others achieve a higher level of fitness:)

Hi Nicole, I don't subscribe to Oxygen and don't read it super regularly, but if I know I'm going on a trip and have airplane time or someplace to read workout tips and zone out (and I can't read blogs on my computer :)) then I will pick up an Oxygen for the road. I do like to read their little tips and tricks and the stuff I don't like or think is lame, I just ignore :)

I love oxygen and have saved all of my issues since their premiere issue. I do find that their images are no mainstream however, you know when you buy it that these are obviously the super fit elite and should be used for inspiration. I will say, just looking at the cover sometimes just gets my ass to the gym. :)


I just discovered Oxygen and love it. I like the fact that they don't use celebrities as models. This is a serious magazine for women who are serious about their health and exercise. I actually just subscribed last week.

Oxygen will quickly become a favorite of yours, Vegan Tickles! I have found it so helpful during many different stages in my life:)
