Cathe Road Trip 2010

I had an absolute blast at the Cathe Road Trip this weekend! The energy you feel when you are surrounded by so many people that love fitness is amazing! I met a ton of wonderful people that I can now call friends. If you ever get a chance to go to a weekend like this, do it!

Cathe and I at the Saturday night dinner.
My big win!
This was right before the first class.

If you've never stayed at the Loews Coronado Resort, it's fabulous! Everyone said the food was fantastic and it looked great! The views are amazing too. Water views from every room! I am so glad I went and that I went with such a great friend! We definitely needed time away and this was just what the doctor ordered. If Cathe ever comes our way again, I'm there!

  1. wow how amazing! I wish I could have gone...was every woman there in amazing shape..meaning, me with my RA, would I have fit in? I can hang pretty good but I have never been able to do a Cathe tape all the way through without stopping to gasp for my breath!

  2. There was such a mix of people Judy. I would say 75% of the group was in good shape, 10% were in okay shape and 5% were in amazing shape! I was glad to be in the middle of the pack. There were even a few men there with their wives. It was so great!

  6. I just thought of a question for you! How do you eat when you go to a conference like this or when you are out with friends and family? I'd be curious to know :) and what do you do when faced with a temptation? thanks!

  7. Hey Megan,

I took about 8 Raw protein bars that weekend. I also took some apples, bananas, oranges, my own salad dressing and 6 Raw Kombucha drinks. Kombucha is great and really helps me keep my energy up. If I get tired, I want to overeat. Don't do that!

When I go out to eat or over to someones house, I always have my handy dressing so I can have a salad. If I go to Mexican food I have hot carrots and guacamole but just make sure it doesn't have any dairy in it. I tell them I'm allergic I know they tell me the truth.

If it is too difficult to do any of that I just eat before I go out. Nobody cares. I have willpower, it's called OCD. I'm very particular so there is no varying from the routine, ever! It has it's downsides, trust me : )
