The Times, They Are a Changin'

Okay, I know I have been MIA lately but let me explain, kind of. It's hard to put my thoughts into words lately and I had some really good ones as I was driving around today and now they are gone, darn it! Anyways, I find I am so crazy busy at this point in my life. I take the kids to school, go to the gym, run errands, pick the kids up, clean the house somewhere in the middle of it all and make dinner, lunches, etc. I am spread so thin! I feel I am coming into a new chapter in my life, a chapter of balance, a chapter of renewal.

Between my blogging, facebook, e-mail, twitter, I am just beyond distracted from my real job, being the best wife and mom I can be. I have loved every minute of blogging up to this point but find that now it is time for me to focus on my immediate family and the life that is passing me by instead.

I appreciate all of my readers and hope that I have inspired you and made you look at fitness differently, not as a chore but something that can be fun, exciting and wonderful! I will continue to workout and share a post here and there if something really inspires me or if there is something that I think will encourage all of you. I will also post two more DVD reviews as I promised so keep an eye out for those.

So yes, the times are changing and this chapter in my life is closing but I will still be around if you need me. E-mail me anytime and I will be happy to reply. You have all inspired me over the years as well so I hope I hear from you!! thefitnessfreak@cox.net

Although I'm sad that you don't be able to blog as much, I'm VERY blessed that we still keep in touch regularly via email and Facebook :) Keep it up and kudos for enjoying life away from the computer!

I think your motivation for doing this (leaving the blogging world) is wonderful!

I'm so proud of you. It is a brave decision, but one you'll never regret. Family comes first. You are a wonderful wife and mom :-)

Thanks ladies! It was a tough decision because I enjoy sharing my love of fitness. In the end, my family is my top priority. I may return at some point but for now, this is the spot I'm at : )

Nicole...I read this a few days ago and was so sad...but really the reasons why you're moving on are wonderful. I have struggled with all of these issues as well but for me, blogging, writing, inspiring is my passion so I am gonna keep on keepin' on...somedays I'll say a lot...other times not so much:)

I am so very happy I found you on Tosca's site that day. Also grateful for all your kind and inspirational comments on my blog. Remember the next time you are in KC to let know, okay??

Love,
Leslie
