Insanity: Day 3- Cardio Power & Resistance

Today's workout was Cardio Power & Resistance. This workout is approximately 40 minutes long and combines strength and cardio moves. I previewed this DVD at the beginning of the week and thought, "This will at least be a bit easier than the first workout". I was wrong! I would like to say it was the lack of food in my stomach at 9:30 in the morning or that I didn't get enough sleep last night, but it was just tough, period. The workout starts off with the usual 10-minute warm-up followed by an 8-minute stretch. The heart of the workout consists of two cardio circuits which are about 6-8 minutes long each followed by various strength moves. Now these strength moves only use your body weight but that was enough for me : ) It ends with a 4-minute stretch and then you are free to pass out on the floor like I did ;D

Tomorrow is the Cardio Recovery, yippee! I let you know how that goes......

Nicole, I love how you share these workouts with us. This may sound silly...but I am so scared to try these!! I have Jillian's 30 Day Shred and that is hard at times. LOL. I will say I am getting stronger with my walks...adding lunges and bursts of jogging. I think the main thing that holds me back are the weights. I can only use very small weights due to my neck injury so I get so frustrated!!!

You look amazing after working out that hard:)

We see Eclipse tonight...can't wait!
